Sažetak
Incidence of primary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (PHOA) in a selected population has been examined. The examination included 3125 patients (1820 males and 1305 females) who sought medical care in the various out-patient departments of a large hospital during one month. PHOA was found in 5 patients (4 males and 1 female) which means that the incidence is 0.16%. All of the patients had clubbed fingers, skin changes and periostal reactions of the long bones.
