Sažetak
Possible associations between HLA-DR1, HLA-DR4, HLA-B27 antigens alone or in combinations, and laboratory, radiological findings and features of clinical status were analyzed in 175 patients with rheumatoid arthritis. HLA-DR1 was associated significantly with the absence of vasculitis, Raynaud's phenomenon, tenosynovitis and sacroiliitis in seronegative paatients. HLA-B27 was associated significantly with the less swollen joints and tenosynovitis, and with the presence of iritis, sacroiliitis in seronegative patients, shoulder involvement and reduced Schober's test. HLA-DR1 in combination with HLA_B27 was associated significatly with the presence of fourth development stage hip involvement and increased levels of serum C reactive protein. HLA-DR4 in combination with HLA-DR1 and B27 were not associated significantly with differences in the presence of any laboratory findings, radiological changes or other features of clinical status.
