Sažetak
The puropse of this study was to evaluate possible pathological changes of rCBF in PTSD patinets and if there was any correlation in alterations of rCBF and hemisphere dominance in those patients. SPECT with 99mTc-ECD was performed in 13 PTSD patients, who also had Annett handedness questionnaire to identify dominant hemisphere. PTSD patietns have constant activation of the limbic brain structures, with significant correlation between localization of pathological changes of rCBF (left amygdala/nucleus accumbens, left basal ganglia) in PTSD patietns and hemisphere (left) domination.
