Sažetak
Program of infection control is pivotal for quality, and reflects general standard of health care provided by a healthcare institution, with accompanying impact on morbidity and mortality. The basic task of the program of the control of hospital infections is preparation of recommendations on the manner of carrying out procedures during the care and treatment of a patient. Aim of the study is to demonstrate practical application in the control and treatment of epidemics caused by infection - treatment of diarrhea as a consequence of bacteria and viruses and of the Crohn disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) in immunocompromised patients, according to the principles of risk management: identification, analysis, control.
