Sažetak
Experimental investigations of the trapeziodal profiled sheets behaviour under transverse load were conducted on two trapeziodal sheets. The testing was performed for the negative position of the sheet and for the positive sheet position. During testing the load was gradually applied on trapeziodal sheets by icreasing to 5 cm the level of water in the container situated above the trapeziodal sheet. For both trapeziodal sheets the failure occured because of the local buckling of trapeziodal sheet compression zone at the point of maximum bending moment in the first span. The limit load of trapeziodal sheet is 28% grater for positive position when compared to the negative position. Diffrences obtained in the trapezoidal sheet limit load and deflection values may be explained by the fact that in case of negative trapeziodal sheet position a wider zone is in compression in the area of maximum bending moment on the span. In case of positive trapeziodal sheet position, the wider zone is in compression above the bearing which would othervise make it more stable.
