Sažetak
The presentations deals with the impact of project management to a society at the large. The first part of the presentation describes the main innovation challenges for a society, customer trends in 21st century and business environment characteristics. The main challenges for the 21st century society are explained trough science, management, education, business and employment aspects. The central part of the presentation deals with relationship between projects and society emphasising the significance of projects for a society development. Data about society investment in projects and number of employees in projects are presented. The final part of the presentation address the impact of projects to society with special attention to standards, professional associations, behaviour, megaprojects, education and training, research. The 21st century project management approach is presented and explained the responsibility for society and environment friendly project management approach, so as interaction among triangle society-project-project management which is crucial for further achievements.
