Sažetak
The sorption behaviour of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol, 2,3,4,6-tetrachlorophenol and pentachlorophenol in was investigated in twelve samples of marine sediments containing 0.8 - 11.3% of organic matter. Sorption experiments were carried out under conditions (sorbent pH >7.15) favouring ionization of sorbates in the aqueous phase. The sorption results did not support the hydrophobic partition model for sorption of chlorophenolates, but rather indicated a discrepancy with the partition-like behaviour.
