Sažetak
Objectives of this work are: to develop an ES structure prototype model for distribution centres generally, and to built basic ES application for the food distribution centres (with good solution for food ordering process). The prototype of the Food Ordering Process Expert System (FOPES) implements all basic rules and main logistic functions. The study analyses objectives with methods of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and especially treats object-oriented model of the FOPES with professional ES building tools. Main rules and basic data were used to initiate a practical design of a knowledge base and a conclusion making mechanism for the FOPES. Goal was to build the real object-oriented prototype, in the form of basic: facts, rules, sub-models, ES oriented code and heuristics. This model can be used for the civilian food distribution centres or for the more specific - police food ordering process
