Sažetak
The chapter analyses the contribution of Bob Deacon to the creation and development of the interlinked fields of global and regional social policy. Global and regional social policies are concerned with the complex and changing relations between globalisation, regionalism and new modes of governance, constellations of citizenship and practices of redistribution. As such, the work represents a significant challenge to the ‘methodological nationalism’ underpinning dominant understandings of social policy, and moves beyond comparative analysis of welfare arrangements between nation states.
