Sažetak
On 22 May 2011, a recreational fisherman accidentally caught a paddlefish (Polyodon spathula, Walbaum, 1792). The fish was captured near the Kopacki rit Nature Park in the Croatian section of the Danube River at 1418 rkm. The paddlefish had an 80 cm TL, 71.5 cm FL, 69.5 cm SL, 24 cm snout length, and body weight of 1.435 kg. Neither recreation nor commercial fishermen caught another paddlefish during 2011 in the Croatian part of the Danube River.
