The author analyzes the implementation of international human rights standards in Croatia during and after the war. He compares the Universal Declaration on human rights and the situation in Croatia as far as the legal and institutional framework is concerned. The author
analyzes also the state of the human rights in the field of ethnic minorities and classifies various forms of human rights abuses in
Croatia and the response; within this he examines also the role of NGOs in human rights.
