Sažetak
This paper presents the comparative cost-based analysis of four well-known location management strategies for the radio part and the fixed part of the cellular network. A uniform mobility model is used to model the mobility of users where users are classified according to the Call-to-Mobility-Ratio (CMR). The results are given weighting in different ways the signalling costs in the radio part and in the fixed part of the network.
