Sažetak
Integration of voice and data traffic in packet switching networks is facing problems of admission control, resource reservation, scheduling, flow control and flow conformance control. WTFC (Window-Time Flow Control) technology offers a method for efficient end to end packet rate and window regulation, keeping the network at the working point of on average empty packet queues. This property makes WTFC a promising technology in the area of voice and data integration, solving several common problems: data flow regulation, voice coding and rate selection, and outbound queue scheduling. In this paper, the approach to the WTFC usage in voice-data integration is proposed. Experimental realization is tested in simulation environment. Conclusions are developed.
