Sažetak
A Window-Time-Space flow control (WTFC) end to end flow control algorithm is developed on the basis of the window bounded D/D/1/W queuing model and Window-Time (WT) plane. It enables the transmitter to estimate its optimal packet sending rate and window, under condition that total network (path) capacity is signaled from the network or estimated by the transmitter. In this paper, implementation WTFC algorithms are presented. Connection startup algorithm assures the appropriate usage of channel before first and second acknowledgments are received, window correction algorithm provides window approximation in the case of combined window and rate control, while path capacity correction algorithm is used to recover from the inaccurate total path capacity estimation. Simulation measurement results are presented and analyzed.
