Sažetak
The paper describes key standards within the area of project management, so as their influence to the community of profession and more detailed to the construction industry. The importance of global standards is recognized by all experts because of providing solid frame for acting in the way based on proven best practices and because providing unique platform for easy communication and understanding. The paper deals with four project management standards - IPMA ICB3, PMI PMBOK, Prince2 and ISO 21500, which are recognized like key and the most used at the global level. The main characteristics of each standard is described, so as comparison of key features.
