Sažetak
Assuming the “death of art” to be the consequence of its philosophical treatment, Ivan Focht (Sarajevo, 1927 – Zagreb, 1992), Croatian and Bosnian philosopher of Jewish origin and phenomenological orientation, tried to develop an approach to art, which could take into consideration its artistic character. The consequences of his thought for the musical hermeneutics are analyzed in this article.
