Sažetak
Proponents of the stakeholder approach suggest that a firm should be governed to satisfy interests of all groups that have legitimate stakes in the company's success, and the mechanisms of governance should protect and ensure fair returns to stakeholder's investments. In its most basic sense, stakeholder theory arises from the rejection of the idea that the corporation should single-mindedly strive to maximize the benefits of a single stakeholder, the shareholders.
