Sažetak
This publication represents an overview of Croatian company law. It starts by providing the general background of Croatian society and economics, history of Croatian company law and its legal sources. This is followed by a detailed explanation of various company forms. Two most significant companies are the public limited (d.d.) and limited liability company (d.o.o.). They are describes in detailed, including the relationship between their members and the company, their organs, assets, liability and share capital. They are followed by various partnerships: simple partnership, general partnership, limited partnership, silent partnership, cooperative partnership and association. Each of those forms is represented by its distinctive characteristics which arise out of its function.
