Sažetak
Developing reading skills is of crucial importance to engineers who want to pursue their career, therefore one of the aims of ESP courses is to help them become more efficient readers. Reading may be defined as a cognitive ability to select the right strategy in order to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information more quickly. The article is aimed to explore these strategies in ESP classroom. Strategies such as skimming and scanning the text in search of meaning will be explained and exemplified.
