Sažetak
The total number of 92 cancers found among cases' families, compared with 45 in controls, was in significant excwss (p<0.05). Regarding the type of cancer, leukemia, gastric cancer and cervical cancer were significantly more frequent (p<0.05)(table 1.) Our results support the hypothesis of a more general predisposition to cancer in children with HN, and not specific predisposition to neoplasms of the hematopoietic system. We propose continued large epidemiological and molecular genetic studies to estimate the inherited fraction of HN and to identifyindividuals at risk precisely.
