Sažetak
This paper presents possibilities for implementing user developed control algorithms in industrial frequency converters. In specific industrial applications there is often a need to change the control structure implemented in frequency converter. But the most of industrial frequency converters are ready-made solutions and implemented control algorithms cannot be modified. However, Sinamics S120 frequency converter gives the user opportunity to develop and implement his own algorithms by using Drive Control Chart programming tool. In this paper the basics of creation and implementation of a user control algorithm on Sinamics S120 are described. Furthermore, standard vector control structure of induction machine (speed controller, position controller) is modified and standard controllers are replaced by user developed controllers which are programmed within the Drive Control Chart. Implementation process of developed algorithm is explained and algorithm is experimentally verified on the laboratory model. Experimental results show a good performance of a user created algorithm. So, this industrial frequency converter can be used as a platform for developing an advanced control algorithms.
