Sažetak
Objective of this work is to show the practical approaches to Information System Reengineering used during the development of the Intelligent Information System (in short: IIS) of the Croatian Anti Money Laundering Department, as a new concept of the Corporate Criminal Intelligence Analysis (in short: CCIA). This is also a relatively new concept in the development of all basic classical and IIS solutions used in the process of adopting the CCIA in the Croatian security system theory and practice. The study analyses objective with methods of information science, especially with database conversion techniques, reverse engineering and forward engineering, and with a reengineering methodology for information systems. The biggest part of solutions researched, proposed and presented in this work were used in the development of the IIS of the Croatian Anti Money Laundering Department and some are used in the development of the some parts of the Integrated information subsystem of the Croatian Criminal police. These software solutions obey modern world trends of operational research modelling in informational aspects of CCIA involved, and they are used in other similar security information systems, also. Goal of research is to explain a full concept of the proposed model of the Information System Reengineering used during the development of the IIS, as a new concept of the CCIA. Intention is to point-out the real potentials and benefits of integration of some classical and intelligent applications in the selected problem domain. The obtained results, in the form of the models, will be used in a further process of scientific development of the CCIA.
