Sažetak
The article is about conducting a numerical simulation of a welding process on butt-weld of two pipes. There were two models considered: model A in which thermal and mechanical properties of materials were temperature dependent and model B in which thermal and mechanical properties were taken at room temperature except yield strength. A parallel numerical simulation of welding process was cunducted, using the software packages Abaqus and Ansys. The obtained results of residual stresses for models A and B agree very good.
