Sažetak
Over a hundred discovered manuscripts testify the lively interest which the Latin Life of Adam and Eve has enjoyed in the West throughout the centuries. In its late form, the Vita Adae et Evae has also found a way into the Croatian Glagolitic literature, occuring in the same translation in the two Croatian Glagolitic miscellanies (the Žgombić Miscellany from the 16th and the Fatević Miscellany from the 17th century). The content and contrastive textual analysis conducted in this paper will provide some additional data to the knowing both of the late Latin redactional group and the vernacular variant version. The second aim is to put the elements of this tradition in relation to the ones of the other Adamic works in the Croatian Glagolitic manuscripts.
