Sažetak
The Natura Park Učka is located i the area of of Učka mountain massif and adjacent part of Ćićarija plateau (N-NE part of Istrian peninsula), west Croatia. The area of the Park is 160 km2 and the highest part, named Vojak, is 1401 m a.s.l. According to the climate classification by Koppen the explored parts belong mostly to the warm temperate and fully humid climate with warm summer - Cfb. The main part of Park lies on limeston and flysch, which allowes the existance of many groundwater collectors. Geological structure, together with climate, is the main factor of development of numerous plant taxa. Inventory of the flora of the Nature Park Učka was conducted in July 2006 on 18 earlier arranged locations in order to cover the most different habitat types. The aim was to collect the preliminary data about about floristic biodiversity of the Park. During the research 373 different plant taxa from 69 families have been found. The most numerous families are Poaceae (9, 6%), Fabaceae and Asteraceae (8, 6% each). The most common life form is hemicryptophyte (49, 7%), followed by phanerophyta (16, 4%), geophyta (12, 9%), therophyta (9, 7%), chamaephyta (8, 9%), nanophanerophyta (2, 1%) and only one form of hydrophyta. 18 taxa (EN 1, NT 6, VU 4, LC 6, DD 1) from The Croatian Red Book of Vascular Flora (Nikolić, T., & Topić, J., eds. 2005) were found. According to the Nature Conservation Law 16 taxa are strictly protected and 63 taxa are protected.
