Sažetak
Paper makes an attemp to evaluate the water bodies and their surroundings in terms of possibilities to use them in sustainable tourism in rural areas, what may be an alternative for agriculture. Large water bodies (Kryspinow, the community of Liszki, Zabierzow Bochenski - the community of Niepolomice) and small water bodies (Ulesie, Wola Batorskaand Staniatki) were studied. A certain number of points was attributed for the components such as facilities for visitors, i.e. the access, the possibility of swimming and angling as well as tourist attractiveness, including the presence of culturally valuable objects and natural richness. The latter was based on the assessment of flora by Braun-Blanquet's method ; the studies were carried out in July and August 2009, and fauna observations made at that time and earlier years. The threat to water bodies was also assessed, including: pollution, filling with ground, dehydration, the vicinity of road, etc. Water body of the best facilities was Kryspinow, while the most attractive from ecological point of view is the old river bed in Ulesie and the borrow pit in Zabierzow Bochenski (because of Salvinia natans and Nuphar lutea). The former fish pond at the Staniatki Convent is very interesting because of the vicinity of architectural monuments. This pond is also the most endangered.
