Sažetak
Different motivation and bioethical predisposition, needed for the individuals who are in the field of medical branch, require different bioethical value attitude for future occupation and professional relation. Well equilibrated motivation, ethical-character disposition and physician's moral development, are strong predictor of clinical work quality. Intrinsic ethics and morality, which is immanent and proper quality to biomedicine, could be distorted if looked upon as formal- professional ; carieeristic-occupational or managerial ; but at the same time, it can be improved, if it is experienced and applied as a profession/vocation, inspired with altruistic philanthropy. In the context of the contemporary society and its culture, modern science and medical competence are exposed to the strong temptation of neglecting ethical dimensions in the research. Scientists can easily be tempted to become manipulation progenitors of life and death. In front of this kind of challenges, the physician’s responsibility has increased and left upon their deeper inspiration and stronger support in internal and interchangeable ethical dimension of health care profession. In cases when in the society, and especially in medicine, materialism, individualism and utilitarianism become predominant socio- psychological force ; a human being and his life are becoming an object. Such approach is obviously incompatible with intrinsic ethics of health care. In order to overcome those professional pathologies of reductionist understanding of the occupation, according to the principle of ensuring only some ethical minimum of contractualistic relation, a strong bioethical motivation should always be above all individual value criteria of health-care professionals and directed to holistic and integrative care of patients. The basic goal of this exposure is to offer specific appeal on the conscious and humanism to all health care professionals’, and to serve as an initiative on bioethical education, with the intention that the medicine remains faithful to her traditional charism as an ars sacra.
