Sažetak
During the process of primary healing in 30 examinees the temperature of the surgical wound was measured by liquid-crystal-bearing strips. This method is semi-quantitative. The aim of the study was to determine if there was a regularity in temperature changes with time. The obtained results present the possibilities of the method. Regularity in the temperature changes of the wound was noticed by analysis of the thermal images. The wound temperature rises up to the third day and then falls until the eighth day after operation. The inflammatory reaction was the cause of increased temperature of the wound. Increased temperature of a wider surroundings of the wound was caused by humoral and neurogenic factors.
