Sažetak
This book includes 18 chapters in total, divided in six thematic fields. The first two inspect the field of economic thought by questioning ancient issues under a modern light. The following six are equally divided amid macroeconomics and monetary policy. The macroeconomics part embrace theoretical and empirical research results in the field of government spending, investments and education with no particular implication on one country or case study, while works in the field of monetary policy focus merely on the Croatian case. Authors of the latter investigated the relation between monetary policy and business cycles in Croatia, as well as problems in the Croatian banking system. Afterwards in the remaining six works the focus of the research moves in the field of business, meticulously dissembling three areas: management, financial analysis, and marketing and tourism, All these comprise interesting empirical research results pointing merely on Croatian data and/or case studies. Among others, authors investigate asset management and allocation, the quality of financial reporting, branding and experience economy.
