Sažetak
The major attempt to upgrade diagnostic utility of PSA serotest in prostate cancer patients was the application of F/TPSA with 90+ percent sensitivity and 70+ percent specificity. We have observed that the contribution of neuroendocrine structures may alter F/TPSA level during tumor diagnosis thus making false negative findings. Therefore we suggest the measurement of ChrA in all patients with elevated PSA anda negarive F/TPSA finding.
