In the article some aspects of the musical poetics of Croatian composer Milo Cipra are addressed: the relation between the level of details and the level of form ; the question of expression ; he relation between constant and variable elements ; resistance to musical hermeneutics ; modernist compositional techniques ; the question of musical time, and musical semantics.
