Sažetak
In the world of biopsychosocial and holistic approaches in treatment, education and rehabilitation, the methods of somathology, somatopedics and somatotherapies can be aimed at different problem-oriented areas of psychosomatic, psychosocial and psychodynamic issues. Restitution of neuromotor functions after a cerebral injury, for example, refers to functional (psychosomatic) aspects of personality, but also to the existential ones. Perception of a pain in kinesitherapeutic exercises after mastectomy does not refer only to hypothetical changes in neurotransmission but also to the space of cumulative dimension of a pain within which scope a perceptive disposition of the subject is being manifested through the mechanisms of a self-esteem and through the mechanisms of coping with the disease. The application of selective stimulations for the purpose of inducing higher levels of aesthetic satisfaction in perceptive-motor activities in a child with cerebral palsy, influences as well to the development of its self-esteem and body-image and is being reflected as well in other forms of rehabilitation treatments.
In a background of such approaches in somatology, somatopedics and somatotherapies there are different theoretic models being patterned in methods of interventions as for example: functional somatotherapy, methods of relaxation, application of different media in a therapy, hypnosis, integrative methods oriented towards a body and functions of movement, catharsis, sociosomatoanalysis and psychosomatoanalysis.
In the framework of such an approach this work will reveal both aspects of the applied theoretical models and the results of a few studies: somatotherapeutic treatment in case of a congenital malformation of upper limbs, the interpretations of a tendency of change in a motor habitus of the subject after a cerebral injury, and a multiple convergent therapy of pain in kinesitherapeutic exercises after mastectomy. The original data for defined variables have been processed statistically for the purpose of a review of dynamics of changes in various time points. The results of the studies show a notable influence of multidimensional approach in giving support to the patients subjectivity as an important energy resource in a process of rehabilitation and, on the whole, in sustaining a quality of life.
The results of the studies will be discussed relating to the present-day development of different disciplines and science in general terms.
