Sažetak
There are opportunities in the Republic of Croatia for participating in the financing,
construction and operation of water supply and sewerage facilities. Due to the lack of
their own investment means, as well as insufficient experience in meintaining the
teohnological wastewater treatment processes, the City of Zagreb has decided to
grant the concession for the construction and operation of the wastewater treatment
plant. It is assumed thet the experience with this project will be favourable, which would
greatly influence other cities regarding the way to resolve water supply and
wastewater collection issues.
