Sažetak
The partial buffer sharing scheme is very efficient in congestion control of multiple loss priority class traffic. In such a system, it is necessary to determine multiple buffer thresholds so that cell loss requirements can be satisfied. It is also very useful to define an optimal position of multiple loss thresholds. This paper presents an optimization algorithm for searching optimal position of multiple loss thresholds for the fixed load and for admissible maximal load. It also covers analytical simulation results of four-priority class buffer controlled by partial buffer sharing scheme.
