Sažetak
The paper presents analytical simulation results of four-priority buffer system controlled by partial buffer sharing. A new mathematical mode is developed and used for calculation of cell loss probabilities during simulations. The impact of different traffic structures on cell loss probability is analysed, i.e. of balance traffic and of traffic when any of four classes of cell loss priority is dominant. The results of this analysis will be used as a basis in the process of determining buffer thresholds.
