Sažetak
Croatian version of the Group Environment Questionnaire (GEQ, Carron, Widmeyer & Brawley, 1985) was administered in three samples including professional and non-professional players in interactive and co-active sports. Internal consistency proved to be satisfactory for three original subscales (Group Integration – Task ; Group Integration – Social ; Individual Attraction - Task) but weak for the Individual Attraction – Social subscale, especially in the sample of table-tennis team players. The intercorrelations between the subscales were significant and moderate in all samples. Two dimensions, referring to task and social cohesiveness, seem to provide a meaningful explanation of the covariation between the items in the Croatian version, especially for the interactive sport players. Inconsistencies in the loadings patterns that were observed across the samples suggest that further research with this version is needed to define the set of items that may be used as a valid and reliable measure of sport team cohesiveness and its specific facets.
