Sažetak
The countries of south eastern Europe have shared similar geo-traffic circumstances, as well as history, especially regarding the last century. Culturally, those countries belong to different sides, due to a strong boundary between western and eastern civilization. There are also many varieties in their ethnic and global economic characteristics, but most of those countries have been bounded by their shared life in a socialistic environment for decades. Breakdown of the socialistic eastern block has enabled those countries to start the process of economic transition, as their political systems have been going through major transformations towards western democracy. In such an environment, all those countries have become open towards European integration , especially with the EU.
