Sažetak
Productivity is a basic assumption for stability, development, and a successful economy for every country. The fundamental and general weakness of economics of countries in transition, in which the market mechanism is not properly functioning, is low productivity. This paper investigates and discusses the causes and conseguences of low productivity in Croatia's hotel industry and defines needed criteria which have to be satisfied to increase productivity and to secure stability and development.
