The author deals with the problems of national identity of the clergy (bishops, canons, lower clergy) in some of the major dioceses in Dalmatia and Croatia of both Croatian and foreing origin (Venetian and Hungarian) in the 15th century, presenting some of the most important biographies, and monuments related to them still extant in these cities.
