Sažetak
Casting process is very much represented in the production of complicated parts, from small parts to the large sizes and weight. Precisely because of the presence of this type of production and the problems encountered during production emerged the need for creating and using simulation of casting process. One such software is MAGMASOFT and an interpretation of results on achieving targeted modifications and changes to the feeding system, which contributes to better results. Simulation is a tool which in a simple and picturesque way shows the melt flow throughout the mold cavity. 3D image and animation allow better view of possible hidden or in that time non viewed problems which reduce the quality of the product. In this way are avoided the costly and prolonged time for finishing tools, as well as costly probe after finishing. With regard to productivity and the amount of non-quality parts, application technology casting simulation process significantly improves the quality and foundry operations.
