Sažetak
Vendor selection is one of the vital tasks in every enterprise. In principle there are more potential suppliers (vendors) who have limitations regarding capacities, quality etc. as quite often no supplier can fulfil all the requirements of the firm. Therefore it has to purchase part of its demand from various suppliers. The management of an enterprise needs to make decision on the order of suppliers' priority as well on the quantity of orders to be purchased from particular suppliers during a certain period. This paper develops the supplier selection principle using the multicriteria analysis and gives an example of its application on one food - processing firm.
