Sažetak
The regions along the Baltic and Adriatic Seas are very similar regarding geographic, historical, political and economic and transport aspects. Both seas enter deep into the mainland and are connected to the North Sea and the Mediterranean by relatively narrow straits (Kattegat and Otrant respectively). Extreme significance of this location from the traffic and industrial points of view was a reason for centuries of historical and political changes, and of constant tendency to connect the seas and countries between them. . . .
