Sažetak
One of the least-known periods of the exceptionally rich archaeological heritage of Vinkovci belongs to the last phase of prehistoric development, the Iron Age. While the information on the Late Iron Age (end of the 4th - end of the 1st c. BC), marked by legacy of the tribal community of the Scordisci, puts Vinkovci in the group of well-explored sites, very little is known about the Early Iron Age (end of the 9th - end of the 4th c. BC), and this situation should be remedied by future targeted archaeological excavations.
