Sažetak
This paper aims to address the impact of Croatia’s and potential further EU accessions on the Union’s institutional structure and decision-making. The discussion will rely on two combined methods of analysis. First, it will take into consideration the impact of the 2004 and 2007 enlargements, taking into account that these enlargements were much bigger and, therefore, more difficult to process and absorb. Second, the research will rely on the analysis of six indicators chosen as relevant for reaching the conclusions on the impact prognosis. These indicators were formulated as questions in oral or written interviews conducted with a number of Croatian, Member States’, and EU officials taking part in the meetings and/or involved in the work of the Council, the Commission, and the European Parliament.
