Sažetak
Studying the problem of moral education of gifted involves complex research in the spirit of contemporary trends in pedagogic methodology. On one side it imposes complexity and the complexity of the process of moral education, and on the other hand, the specificity of the phenomenon of giftedness. Closing on a single methodological concept no doubt would cause a reduction in the number of research problems and methodological errors. In this paper we consider the limitations of traditional and new research paradigms in the study of moral education of gifted students. The need for applying different epistemological and methodological approaches to obtain data on giftedness and moral education of students and the need for triangulation, pluralism and methodological flexibility because of the idiosyncratic giftedness of individuals is greatly emphasized. This paper also shows the advantage of qualitative strategies, techniques and procedures which allow a better insight of the concrete educational reality and specificity of the phenomenon of moral education of gifted students. It is paid close attention to alternative procedures which greatly contribute to an overall study and clarification of problems of the moral education of gifted students.
