Sažetak
Throttling decreases the relative air humidity. This physical phenomenon makes possible the operation of absorption compressed air dehumidifiers which are regenerated by means of a part of the previously dried air stream, without additional energy.
The regeneration potential of the air stream depends on the expansion ratio, i.e. it is increased with the throttling range. The compression power increases simultaneously.
The influence of temperature and pressure of the compressed air on the regeneration potential of the air and aspects of rational operation of the compressed air system are investigated.
