Sažetak
U radu su prikazani rezultati znanstvenog istraživanja učinka lasera na polimernu strukturu akrilata zubne proteze. Kako su ranije studije pokazale antifungalni učinak terapijskog lasera na oralne gljivice, cilj je bio ispitati da li laserska svjetlost 680nm i 830nm utječe na promjenu strukture polimetilmetakrilata zubne proteze. Rezultati su pokazali da laserska svjetlost ne uzrokuje dezintegraciju makromolekula lanaca polimera. Ovaj je rezultat od kliničkog značaja jer pokazuje da laserska svjetlost može biti alternativna metoda dezinfekcije zubne proteze.
