Sažetak
Besides human casualties traffic accidents are causing major financial losses which are in Croatia up to 2% of GDP. Global development of active and passive vehicle safety elements have increased passenger safety in vehicles and allowed reducing injuries in traffic accidents. However, it is still not enough and it is necessary to continue conducting scientific research in order to create new opportunities for protection of the passengers in the vehicle. For this reason, in this paper are analyzed drivers and passenger‘s injury and their cause - effect relationship regarding the type of collision.
