Sažetak
In this article the authors are analysing and defining the main parameters which influence the level of safety and reliability on road-railway crossings in the same niveau. The number of accidents and their causes has been determined with emphasising the concrete problems which leed to this unexpected events such as: ignorance due to an inadequate training of the participants in traffic, their irresponsibility, and an incomplete legal regulations, as if as due to an insufficient scientific approach in solving this problem. On the basis of conducted analysis for the determined causes of accidents, proper solutions have been proposed, as efficient methods for increasing the level of safety and consequently decreasing the number of traffic accidents on road-railway crossings in the same niveau.
