Sažetak
Traffic sign represents timely, unambiguous, and clear information to all traffic participants, and especially to motorists in following the selected routes. In order to fulfil their function, it is necessary for them to be visible both in daylight and especially at night, and to be made of such retroreflecting materials which will meet these requirements. This paper presents the studies of the retroreflective quality of traffic signs and offers the conclusion that their quality does not satisfy the needs of traffic roads on which the measurements were carried out, and that they have been insufficiently taken care of. It is also evident that too little is being invested in traffic signs compared to investments in the construction of the roads.
